StudyMate uses Google's Firebase AI (Vertex AI) to generate educational content including:

• Crossword word-clue pairs based on your chosen topics
• Study questions and learning materials

The topics you enter are sent to Google's AI services to generate content. We do not store or share the AI-generated content with third parties beyond what is necessary to provide the service.

4. Data Storage

Local Storage: Your puzzles, progress, and statistics are stored locally on your device using a secure SQLite database. This data remains on your device unless you choose to export or share it.

Cloud Services: We use Firebase services for:

• Analytics (anonymous usage data)
• Crash reporting (to improve app stability)
• AI content generation (topic inputs only)
